Whether you’re looking for a high adrenaline skiing experience or a relaxing break with a beautiful mountain backdrop, the family-run Villa Gracieuse provides the ideal setting all year round.
This traditional Luchonnaise house is a chambre and table d’hote nestled in the charming town of Bagnères-de-Luchon in the heart of the glorious French Pyrenees.
We have three double/twin rooms and two family suites which sleep up to five people, all with en-suite bathrooms. Each of the rooms boast outstanding mountain views, with some featuring stunning vistas of the valley towards Hospice de France and the ever changing peak of the Sauvegarde mountain.
You’re free to enjoy our cosy fireside lounge, dining room, library and games/cinema room, and indulge in an aperitif or two in the garden. There is plenty of storage space for your sporting equipment, too.
Locally, you’ll be spoilt for choice for things to do. Villa Gracieuse is a short stroll away from the shops and restaurants of this quintessentially French town, which also features a lovely thermal spa and a fantastic open air swimming pool.
Tour de France is a regular visitor to Luchon, which is a great base for sportives/trails during the summer.
Within walking distance of the house is the gondola to the Superbagnères ski resort and mountain bike trails, while Peyragudes ski station is a 20-minute drive away.
Your hosts, Victoria and Geoff, speak French, English and a little German. We will be on hand throughout your stay to provide advice on the best places to hike, cycle, mountain bike, climb, snowshoe, ski, snowboard, relax, sightsee and bird watch.
We work with a number of local guides and can organise day trips for you.
Additionally we have secure storage for all your sporting equipment.
